Take Time

Take Time

A fall retreat for women ready to reimagine what’s next

Our 2025 retreat was a powerful success — a weekend of breakthrough moments, meaningful conversations, and the kind of clarity that stays with you long after you leave. And because the experience resonated so deeply, we’re thrilled to run Take Time again this year.

Change your scenery.
Change your perspective.

This experience takes place October 22-24, 2026 in the stunning Town of the Blue Mountains, Ontario — nestled between the Niagara Escarpment and the southern shores of Georgian Bay near Collingwood. Over a powerful few days, you’ll experience expert, personalized coaching, energizing conversations, outdoor adventure, and memorable connections. Picture crisp fall air, bold ideas, and a beautiful, unhurried space to focus on what’s next for you.

About the retreat

Take Time is a two and a half day, in-person retreat for busy, purposeful women who are craving space to reflect, reset, and realign. Whether you’re on the brink of change or simply yearning to catch your breath, this is your chance to pause, gain clarity, and reimagine what’s next.

This isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about pausing long enough to listen to it.

What to expect:

The retreat takes place in a welcoming, newly-built private chalet just steps from the heart of Blue Mountain Village. You’ll have easy access to shops and trails while still enjoying a comfortable space for reflection and conversation. It includes time with local female business owners who will share their stories of reinvention.

The retreat begins Thursday evening with an opening session and delicious dinner. Friday will include professionally facilitated workshops, some free time, more yummy food and a few other delightful surprises. Saturday will include active and artistic components, with the retreat wrapping up by 4 pm.

What you’ll gain:

By the end of our time together, you will:

  • Have clarity on your next step (even if it’s a small but meaningful one)
  • Leave with practical tools and resources you can continue to use
  • Feel more grounded, rested, or energized — often a mix of all three
  • Build connections with thoughtful, like-minded women
  • Be reminded: you’re not alone in this process of reinvention

This is your invitation to stop doing all the giving — and take time instead.
Because your next chapter deserves your full attention. And so do you.

Yes. You don’t need to be in the middle of a defined shift to benefit from this experience. Many participants arrive simply knowing they want space to reflect, reset, or think more intentionally about what’s next. Whether you’re exploring possibilities or just feeling the pull for something different, the retreat is designed to meet you there.

Accommodation is not included in the retreat fee, giving you flexibility to choose what works best for you. There are several options within walking distance, including The Westin Trillium House (about a 5-minute walk to the venue). You’ll also find boutique hotels in Collingwood (The VanderMarck, The Dorchester Hotel and Somewhere Inn), a short 10–15 minute drive away. You’ll also find a range of hotel and Airbnb options nearby.

It’s completely normal to come on your own — most people do. The retreat is designed to be welcoming and supportive, with plenty of opportunities to foster meaningful connections with others.

The schedule includes a mix of facilitated sessions, time outdoors, shared meals, and space to rest or reflect. You’ll be engaged — but not overwhelmed. We’ve intentionally built in breathing room so you can truly take time for yourself.

Payments can be made to Rebecca Sutherns by e-Transfer or PayPal. An invoice with payment details will be provided.

It was lovely to step away, into a beautiful place, to learn helpful tools while exploring my next chapter. I loved the walks in nature and discussions with like-minded, wise women and am grateful for the insights I took away from this special time of reflection.
